Leave a gift in your will
A lasting gift that changes lives
We know it's not an easy thing to think about, but it's important to have a plan in place for when you die. Writing a Will ensures your final wishes can be actioned as you would want.
Your family and friends will always come first, but you might like to consider including a gift to neurobetter in your Will. With a greater risk of poor mental health, self-harm and suicidal ideation within the neurodiverse community, the need for our support has never been greater.
Types of gift
There are several ways you can leave a gift in your Will:
- Pecuniary gift — A fixed amount of money (e.g. £50, £1,000)
- Specific gift — A specific item (personal possessions, shares, land)
- Residuary gift — A percentage of what's left after other payments and gifts
Suggested wording
If you'd like to include neurobetter in your Will, here is some suggested wording you can share with your solicitor:
"I give to neurobetter of Suite 4451, Unit 3a 34-35 Hatton Garden, London, EC1N 8DX, registered company limited by guarantee number 15612856 _% of the residue of my estate / £___ (specified amount) absolutely for its general charitable purposes."
Tax benefits
Estates worth over £325,000 are subject to 40% Inheritance Tax. If at least 10% of your estate is gifted to charity, you could be eligible for a reduced rate of 36%.
